TRAD will be screened at the festival on Friday 22nd of May, followed by Q&A with Dir Lance Daly, actors Megan NicFhionnghaile & Dallán Woods and moderated by director Paddy Breathnach.
Written and directed by Lance Daly, TRAD follows gifted fiddle player Shona McAnally and her young brother Mickey as they leave their home in the Donegal Gaeltacht and take to the road with a troupe of wandering musicians. They head off on a cross-country journey of adventure, romance and musical exploration. The cast includes Sarah Greene, Peter Coonan, Aidan Gillen, Ann Skelly and features new talents, Megan NicFhionnghaile and Cathal Palmer. Winner of the Audience Award at the Galway Film Fleadh, expect to see electrifying trad sessions!
