From AI-assisted scriptwriting and virtual production to ethical questions around creativity, authorship, and jobs, the panel explores opportunities and challenges at the intersection of technology and storytelling. Expect a dynamic discussion with practical insights on how filmmakers can adapt and thrive in an AI-driven landscape.

On Saturday 23rd of May award winning Director Megan K. Fox, will host an industry focused workshop at the festival in Schull. She will explore how filmmakers can effectively position and present their projects to producers, collaborators, and funders. Participants will learn the fundamentals of shaping a clear, compelling pitch while identifying the elements that make a project stand out in a competitive way. The session will also introduce mood boards as a practical tool for visually communicating tone, style, and aesthetic when presenting a project.

Megan K. Fox is an IFTA nominated writer/director working across TV and film. Her credits include 12 Dates ‘til Christmas, Captivated, Video Nasty, EastEnders and Fair City, and award-winning short Cailín Álainn. Known for her distinctive voice, creating character driven stories of life on the fringes, blending heart, humour, absurd comedy and horror. Upcoming project 'The Rachel Incident' for Channel 4 is produced by Element.
