2026 Programme Revealed at the Crane Lane

Last night at The Crane Lane, the FFF 2026 Programme was unveiled during a lively evening hosted by Gerard Stembridge, featuring preview screenings and the announcement of an impressive lineup of visiting film industry experts. From Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 May, Schull will once again come alive as a vibrant film hub.

This year’s programme is packed with star power and standout screenings, featuring over 70 special guests including Frank Miller, John Crowley, Niamh Algar, Pom Boyd, Eanna Hardwicke, David Wilmot and Robert Sheehan. Audiences can dive into 123 free short film screenings, 19 feature screenings many with Q&As, and a special live event celebrating Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck. Alongside festival favourites like the Garden Cinema and Fun Movie Quiz there are almost 200 events to enjoy.

With inspiring masterclasses, thought-provoking panels on AI and inclusion, and free outdoor screenings for all ages, Fastnet 2026 promises an unforgettable celebration of film. Tickets go on sale at 9am on May 4 via the official festival website.
