Today at the Festival – Thursday 22nd May

Today is International Shorts Day and we’ve been delighted to have many visitors from all around the world take part in today’s events. They brought the sunshine with them, and many have been spotted in their shorts too (groan!).

2014-FSFF-Capitol-Cinema-AIB-BankDid you know we also recycle banks? Yes, it’s true, we’re busy converting the former AIB Bank into an arena to host our Family Fun events scheduled for Saturday.

It’s wonderful to see the events being so well attended once again. There was a packed house for this evening’s screening of Performance, Influence and Controversy which was preceded by an informative insight into filmmaking in the late 1960s and early 1970s by our own Chris O’Dell (above).
