On St Patrick's Day, 1995, Chris Eubank, then World Super Middleweight Champion undefeated in 18 title defences, travelled to Cork to take on Irishman Steve Collins. Eubank recalls in rich detail how underdog Steve Collins defeated Chris ‘Simply the Best’ Eubank. Weeks of lively press conferences between the two, gripped the nation. For all its humour, the film addresses the darker side of boxing. How Steve Collins was given this monumental opportunity after Belfast fighter Ray Close had to stand down when a routine scan showed lesions on his brain. Eubank's career had also been touched by controversy, by life-changing injuries Michael Watson sustained in their fight just four years earlier.
