The 1 day workshop will run Saturday 25th May at the Sailing Centre in Schull. Bartkowiak made his directorial debut with ‘Romeo Must Die’ a martial-arts action film starring Jet Li, which was a huge hit at the box-office and a year later he made the action-comedy film ‘Exit Wounds’ starring Steven Seagal. He provided the very natural look of James L Brooks’ glossy Oscar-winning Best Picture in “Terms of Endearment” and crafted the comic noir look for John Huston’s “Prizzi’s Honor” and the crisp, clean visuals for Ivan Reitman’s “Twins”.

2010 saw Andrzej’s return as Director of Photography on the thriller ‘Trespass’, directed by Joel Schumacher, starring Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage as a married couple taken hostage by extortionists.

“We are honoured and delighted to welcome Andrezj to Schull for our 5thAnniversary. Many thanks to the Polish Ambassador Marcin Nawrot for creating this opportunity. For anyone involved in film this will be an experience not to be missed.” Said Director of the Festival Maurice Seezer.
