Film Technical information

All films should be uploaded to FilmFreeway at time of entry.  We will, however, request the option to download from FilmFreeway to our own server for judges to view.

We currently do not accept DCP.

We only accept .MP4/.MOV. (Resolution = 1920×1080 to 3840×2160, FPS = As Shot, Sound Mix = Stereo, Data Rate = Uncapped, Codec = H.264)

If we ask for your film to be sent to us direct, please send via any online file transfer service.

We suggest: Wetransfer (2GB) – GoogleDrive (15GB) – Myairbridge (20GB free upload)

If you have any TECHNICAL questions, please email: fsfftechnical@gmail.com

WE WOULD LIKE TO ENSURE THAT THE JUDGES VIEW YOUR FILM IN THE HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE SO WILL ONLY ACCEPT FINAL CUTS

We will confirm, via FilmFreeway, once all elements of your entry have been processed. Please do not send us any DVD or entries by post unless requested to do so.

PLEASE NOTE:

FFF is a streaming festival, which means we store all the selected films as files on our server in Schull.   We then stream the films to various venues through the village of Schull during the festival.  If you are coming to the festival, don’t forget your laptop, tablet or smartphone, as you can watch all the selected films and the best of previous festivals via our website anywhere in the village of Schull. This service is ONLY available in Schull, via our smart hubs. Our server is NOT connected to the internet!

If you have any TECHNICAL questions, please email: fsfftechnical@gmail.com.

All other queries regarding submissions should be directed to helen@fastnetfilmfestival.com.
